Hay Buyers Must Read This Entire Statement

All buyers are welcome to select any one small square bale, break it open and inspect it at our cost prior to purchase. We also have a moisture meter and weight scale on hand to assist with buyer inspection. After the first bale is broken for inspection at our cost, any further bales broken for inspection is at the buyer's cost. Any bale broken for inspection after the first one during loading, will be bagged and shipped with that buyer's load. Bales that break due to tie failure, poorly packed bale, etc. may be rejected by the buyer at no cost.

No warrantee or guarantee for weight, nutrition (see testing), or biologic hazard has been issued, given or implied.

This hay is a common use product within the agriculture industry and buyers are expected to execute well-known advertised usage practices as published in industry standards provided by authoritative sources such as the Alfalfa Council of America, University Research Centers, the National Alfalfa Alliance and others. While no known hazards exist with this product at time of sale there is always a risk of adverse animal reaction due to unknown sources, undetectable causes, incurred transportation and or storage conditions prior to use and users must exercise care with its use.

If the buyer is not aware of this product’s potential benefit and consequences then reference to the previously cited organizations will serve as a knowledge base to acquire safe usage practices. Those without knowledge of alfalfa or grass hay's use or potential hazards should not and must not use it.

Buyers are also responsible for the safe transportation of all hay from the moment the buyer or the buyer's transport agent lays hand on any bale.

Buyer's will stack and secure their own hay loads providing their own tie downs, trailers and trucks. Buyer's or their transportation agents must be physically fit capable of manually handling hundreds of hay bales prior to hay loading.

Buyer agrees choice of law is Kansas State.
