Quality through a single product focus.

The on-hand bales are not our best hay. They rank on the low side of any alfalfa we have produced. They come from an alfalfa field that went bad due to invasive grass this spring. They are 50/50 invasive grass and alfalfa.
A test sample has been sent in. We are waiting the results. Results will be post to this page when received.
Price will be set once we get the nutrition results.
To insure as best we can there will be no surprises we offer these pictures of this hay.

The bales average 11% moisture.

The bales were in the barn 24 hours after cutting. Bales in the barn always look greener than in direct sunlight.
Click any of the hay bale pictures below and in a separate window an enlargement of that picture will open to allow closer inspection.
These pictures are the worst of it.
Current to this season lack of rain indicates a lower than average tonnage for the next cutting. There is likely not to be any further hay available for new customers for the rest of 2012.
Please do not call us for other Kansas alfalfa hay sources. There is hay out there. Some we would not recommend. Those growers we know that produce quality grass and alfalfa hay are like us. Sold out.
